More Questions from Funeta Buyers

How big are the single-sport balls?
About 3 inches, just right for a child's hand. They are firm foam but still squeezable.

Will the balls fit in a Valentine mailbox?
They may not fit small envelopes or boxes, so most kids hand them out directly.

Are these good for sports teams?
Yes. Parents and coaches use them for basketball, baseball, football, and soccer teams.

Are sports Valentines too babyish for older kids?
No. Parents say 8 to 12 year olds like them because the message is short and not sappy.

great Valentine for any age but particularly 8-12

My son loves basketball but he's at that age where Valentines are being phased out/not cool etc (6th grade). These are just simple enough (short message, nothing too sappy) and "useful" enough to where I had no problem convincing him to use them since a lot of his friends share his love of basketball and which kid doesn't like playing with a ball. These fit in your palm so yes, can be used as stress balls, but I expect they will be used to throw around/at each other (hopefully only during recess). Kids can never have enough balls. Glad I found these for my 11 year old since this may be the last year for Valentines for him.

Candy free option!

I was looking for a candy-free option for Valentine's Day that my sports-loving son would also like and this is just that. They look just as pictured and there is no assembly required which is nice for busy families. All you need to do is add names to the back and they are ready. The balls are a good size and not too small. One minor set-back I noticed is the staples for the card are on the "from line" and my son has large handwriting so he may be writing over the staples.

As they state, these ARE a SLAM DUNK!

Going to have to order more of these for sure. Got them for my basketball playing granddaughter to use for her classroom Valentines, but all the grandkids want them. (And to be honest, I’d like to have some too to give to kids at the elementary school I work at). They’re a perfect size - probably just fit inside the palm of a 6-9 year old. And everyone, adults included, love stress balls. Not to mention, stress balls that look like basketballs. These are a win for sure! Granted, they’re definitely more expensive than a typical box of Valentine’s cards for children to pass out, depending on how basic or fancy of cards you’re looking at - probably double to triple the cost (possibly - huge range there). But these definitely have an added extra special vibe with the mini basketball, slam dunk wording and attached cards. I probably wouldn’t spend this much every year for every kid, but after a few years of the basic cards, these will be a fun treat for Valentine’s Day 2025. If you have a huge basketball fan and room in the budget for some “extra” to put toward Valentine’s Day cards, I think you’ll be very happy with these! We sure are!!

Decent quality, pre-assembled sets

These are really decent quality squishy stress balls. The balls look like realistic mini basketballs. They are on the firm side, so can actually be used by kids or adults as a stress ball (not super squishy like a basic squishy toy). These also come pre-assembled with the ball being attached to the to/from card via a little net bag. I've seen some sets like this where you have to put the balls into the net and then attach the card to them yourself, which can be time-consuming and not as professional-looking as a pre-assembled set like this. Overall, these are a really decent quality Valentine's Day handout option.

Made in China. Firm foam basketballs, but still squeezeable.

These are a nice size of foam basketball stress balls. They are firm but still squeezable. They are packaged for Valentine’s Day. They come in mesh packaging with a cardboard top. Nice bright orange with bold black lines. These foam basketballs are Made in China.
